The week of Thanksgiving is always a whirlwind. While we fully support enjoying your holiday favorites, staying on track with your health goals and supporting your GLP-1 therapy (Semaglutide or Tirzepatide) doesn't have to be a struggle.
That's why we've designed a flexible 5-Night Low-Carb Dinner Rotation for the week of November 24th. This plan provides quick, high-protein meals using seasonal, simple ingredients from Trader Joe's, allowing you to choose which nights work best for you!
Why Protein and Low-Carb?
For our patients on GLP-1 medications, prioritizing protein and healthy fats helps maximize the medication's effect on satiety (feeling full) and protects muscle mass. Focusing on low-carb, high-fiber vegetables helps stabilize blood sugar and ensures digestive comfort.

🧑🍳 Quick Prep: Recipes & Instructions
Here are the simplified steps to get these nutritious meals on the table fast!
1. Italian Stuffed Chicken Breasts
Filling: Mix softened Cream Cheese with chopped Spinach, chopped Sun-Dried Tomatoes, and Artichoke Hearts. Season.
Stuff & Bake: Cut a pocket into each Chicken Breast. Stuff with the filling. Season the outside of the chicken and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
2. Salmon with Ginger-Garlic Bok Choy
Sear: Season Salmon Fillets and sear, skin-side down, in Sesame Oil for 4-5 minutes, then flip and finish cooking. Remove fish.
Sauté: Add chopped Bok Choy, Ginger Paste, and minced Garlic to the same pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Splash with Coconut Aminos and toss until wilted.
Serve: Place the salmon over the bok choy.
3. Pork Chops with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Sear: Season Pork Chops and sear in a skillet with butter until cooked through (4-6 minutes per side). Remove chops.
Sauce: Add Sliced Mushrooms and Fresh Thyme to the pan. Sauté. Pour in Chicken Broth to deglaze, then stir in Heavy Cream.
Finish: Return pork chops to the sauce and simmer for 1 minute.
4. "Beef & Broccoli" Stir-Fry (Low Carb)
Stir-Fry: Heat a wok or skillet with Sesame Oil. Stir-fry Broccoli Florets for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender. Remove.
Meat: Cook the Shaved Beef Steak quickly in the same pan.
Combine: Return the broccoli to the pan. Toss with a few tablespoons of Sugar-Free Teriyaki Sauce and serve immediately. (Skip the rice for a strict low-carb focus!)
5. Tuna Melts (Low Carb Style)
Mix: Combine drained Tuna with mashed Avocado and Mayonnaise. Season generously with Everything But The Bagel Seasoning.
Wrap: Use large, crisp Lettuce Leaves (Romaine or Butter lettuce) as low-carb wraps or cups to hold the tuna mixture. No cooking required!
